The Stamp Art Shoppe is excited to announce 4 new classes taught by Lynell Harlow, owner of DreamWeaver Brass Stencils. Classes are listed below. We hope you can join us for a weekend of fun & creativity. SIGN UPS START SATURDAY, MAY 4TH. You may come to the store on Saturday, May 4th between 8:30am-9:30am to sign up in person or phone registration starts at 9am. Due to special guest artist fees, travel expenses, etc....,pre-payment of classes are required at time of sign up. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN SO PLEASE CHECK YOUR CALENDARS CAREFULLY. A refund will be given only if we are able to fill your spot or you may send a friend in your place. It is your responsibility to arrive on time and to be prepared for each class you attend. Lynell from Dreamweaver Stencils will be here to teach how to use her stencils with ZIA or Zentangle inspired ART. Learn how to create patterns on the embossing paste and several other techniques to add zest to your stenciled creations. You don't have to have Zentangle experience for this class. Please bring one each of an 01 and 005 Micron Sakura Pens, all the other materials will be provided. classes

This technique was introduced in the year 2000 and as time has evolved so has the process of layering grid stencils with your favorite images. Join Lynell Harlow, owner of Dreamweaver Stencils and learn one of the more unique techniques of stencil "layering". Tools to bring: at least three 1/4" stencil brushes and one 3/4' stencil brush. All card materials will be provided, but bring your trimmer and adhesive if you would like to put your cards together in class. classes

Inspired by Tim Holtz's assemblage clock that just arrived in the store, The Stamp Art Shoppe thought it was time for another contest. The theme is: "Playing With Time." It is truly an open ended theme for you to create whatever you want inside or outside your assemblage clock. The rules for your time piece must have at least 3 stamped images on/in it and have a tag attached to it with the name of your creation on one side of the tag and your name & contact info on the other side. If you buy an assemblage clock at The Stamp Art Shoppe, let us know you plan to enter the contest at the time of your purchase and when you turn in your entry we will give you a $5 store credit just for participating! Entries must be turned in by July 12th. Visitors to the store will vote on their favorites and the winners will be announced at the end of the day on Saturday, July 27th. The store would like to keep the time creations in the store for 1 month to showcase your creativity. Prizes will be awarded in the form of Stamp Art Shoppe store gift certificates.
